We all need to start somewhere....

The 0.5k Run spans exactly 500 cruel meters (equivalent to 22 driveways, 4 city blocks or 51 Winnebagos parked end to end) spanning around Dunn Tire Park. Although a race like this is notoriously difficult to predict, finishing times are projected to be "several minutes to three-quarters of an hour". Regardless of the outcome, the 0.5k promises drama,,excitement and fun.

0.5K Chicken Wing Run begins at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the starting line, located in front of Dunn Tire Park on Swan Street. Runners need to convene by 12:30 PM at the starting line for pre-race festivities. The race wraps around the Park with a left-hand turn onto Washington Street. Then the race procedes left on Exchange Street, then left again for the mad dash to the Finish Line, located on the field inside Dunn Tire Park.

Participants can sign up at the registration tent located at the festival entrance the day of the race. After you are registerred, you will receive your race pinney with your number.

In consideration for my entry being accepted, I, intending to be legally bonded, do hereby, for myself, my heirs and administrators, waive, release and forever discharge any and all claims and rights, which I have or which may hereafter occur, to or against the 0.5k Planning Committee and the National Buffalo Wing Festival, the City of Buffalo, Buffalo Bisons Baseball, Erie County, all other donors and contributors and successors and assigns for any and all damages which may be sustained by me in connection with my association with or entry in and arising out of my traveling to, participating in and returning form the 0.5k
