10th Anniversary Wing Cake Contest

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the National Buffalo Wing Festival. To celebrate, we are putting out a call to all bakers to create a Wing Fest birthday cake!

If you are a amateur baker we want you to make birthday cake and enter your confectionery delight in our Wing Fest Birthday Cake Contest.

10th Anniversary Wing Cake Contest Entry Form

A detailed description of the cake as well as the general recipe idea, and cake name must be included in your submission.

Contest entries will be accepted from August 16th through midnight August 31st

Three finalists will be announced at 9am September 1st via the National Wing Fest website and Facebook page.

Finalists will present their cakes on the main stage of the National Buffalo Wing Festival Saturday, September 3rd at 2:30 pm before a panel of judges including Duff Goldman, star of the Food Network’s Ace of Cakes and Sugar High and his band Sand Ox.

All cakes may be no bigger than 11”x14” wide and two feet high. Cakes will be judged on design, presentation, taste and creative execution of 10th Wing Festival Birthday theme with a chicken wing flair. Cakes and frostings must be made from scratch.

Winners will receive a trophy, festival prize package and culinary bragging rights as Wing Fest’s Best Birthday Cake Baker!
